Orientation Programme by YP Foundation

February 21, 2012
YP Foundation, a youth run and led organization¸ which is supporting and enabling young people to create programmes and influence policies in the areas of gender, sexuality, health, education, the arts and governance approached Legal Aid Society, Campus Law Centre to encourage students to support them in acheving in their objective as volunteers in their various programmes like VOICES- The School Project, The Right to Information Programme etc. The volunteers were basically required to work on issues of deprived and underprivileged class, visiting the slums for identification of their problems and thus mobilizing them and to help in fulfilling the admission procedural requirements of the underprivileged children basically trying to invoke their main motive of spreading literacy among maximum children as possible. Thus the orientation given by the team of YP Foundation proved to be of a great motivation for the students and encouraged many students to join their causes as volunteers and the team was also convinced that their sincerity and knowledge in law would prove to be a great asset for their organisation.
