National on-spot essay competition

“The Future of Legal Aid Movement in India.”

The Legal Aid Society of the Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi organized a National level on-spot essay competition on February 9th, 2012.The Students of various Law schools from across the Nation participated in the 1st National on the spot essay competition held at the CLC auditorium. 


The essay competition was inaugurated by the Professor-in-Charge of the Campus Law Centre J. L. Kaul. The teacher Convener of the Legal Aid Society Dr. Raman Mittal announced the topic for the essay competition. The theme of the essay was “The Future of Legal Aid Movement in India”. The students by their active participation enriched the first National Level on-spot essay competition. The competition was organized to spread the importance of Legal Aid movement and popularize it among the students. This endeavour of the legal Aid Society became a great success when Law Schools across the Nation actively participated in the event.



Our Nation requires young minds with a flare in their heart to creatively contribute to the society. This event is a part of series of events organized by the Legal Aid Society to strengthen the legal aid movement in the country. The aim of the society is not only to provide legal assistance to the needy but also to explore and encourage the best talents among young generation.

  2. When are the results going to be announced? Please don't tell me you'll make us wait till the 17th of March! Some of us were outstation participants and would appreciate if you'd let us know in advance about the results. Thanks!

  8. Its March 5th. Almost a month since the competition was hosted. Don't you think its time you announced the results? Or at least a tentative date for announcing it?

  10. i was told last week that the results were delayed due to the seminar on 17th. i wonder what is holding it back now.......
